Controlling cities: basic clarification
Published on 17 August 2011 - 09:10:31

Hi:

Is having your own units in the area the only way to control a city?  Whenever a friendly unit leaves the area, the city becomes unallied/uncontrolled, right?

Thanks!

Correct, you need at least one unit in the hex to control the city.  Also keep in mind that heroes are NOT units.  Having one of your heroes in the city hex, even if he's completely alone there, is NOT sufficient to have control of the city.
