An Epic Board Game of Conquest, Adventure, and Fantasy Empires
As I haven't ordered directly from Fantasy Flight before, I was wondering if those who have could provide their experience. When pre-ordering a game such as Runewars directly from Fantasy Flight's online store, would I typicaly receive it the same time as a local store would, or would it be faster to wait for a local shop to get it in, and pick it up then?

As I've never preordered from FFG directly either, I can't say. However, when I've preordered items at my local game shop, he generally gets his copies in the store within a day or two of them shipping from FFG.
I usually just go this route. The only thing I preordered from FFG is the War of the Ring: Collector's Edition, but it hasn't shipped yet.
