Do the vehicles from the other 40k rpg books fit in as is to Rogue Trader? So, can I toss in a land raider or what have you with out any conversion or are the rules a bit different?

Formally, it's the same general ruleset. It may not be entirely balanced, and you may feel that tweaking would be appropriate, but it will work.
