Hi all,

Is this going to be set before or after the previous edition.

I ask because this would give me a definitive clue as to the direction of the new material.

Some guys mentioned on different threads, that V3 is set before SoC. So doom is looming over the empire - which many think as a good thing. I personaly have had never troubles with SoC and an empire in ruins.

It befor the Storm of Chaos. The Storm is coming but people of Empire do not know this. Sutra Lenk is coming - one of the suverens of Archaon. Archoan is now making his armies more powerful and his planing the invasion on Empire.

Interesting, though it does not really matter, as we can play it in any time frame of the warhammer era, disregard happenings and so forth, theres enough material on the net, in older editions and novels for that.

I think this is something that was wanted by GW as they seem to not wanting to move the warhammer worlds storyline anymore.

Anybody got a "year-expectation range?"  Is it going to be 2210?  2215?

One of the failures with WFRP2 was definitely NOT to use the SoC better. PotD could have been set to happen, say 2519-2520. Then after that the HUGE high-career campaing (now it is TT) could have been SoC taking heroes through the great war with different missions. That would have been great. Maybe WFRP3 tries to correct this starts that why before SoC. AND MAYBE we will have SoC campaing... ?!!??!?!?!?!
