This seems like a simple question, but I haven't been able to find an answer. So I apologize if this has been addressed before.
What weapon do the Dwarf Clan Chiefs use from the Scottish Wars expansion?

Good question. Not a new one, but still good.
DOW confirmed that if a unit type does not have a specfied weapon, then it defaults back tot eh "basic" weapon type for that genereal unit. For Foot units, that will be the Short Sword, and for Mounted units, that will be the Long Sword.
Right now, this rule only applies to the Clan Chiefs so they carry short swords.
