Which Tolkien-based FFG game is best?
Published on 24 October 2009 - 16:39:32

Hello Everyone,

I've been wondering which of the FFG games beased on Lord of the Rings and general Middle-Earth is the most interesting.

I wanted to know Your opinions before I buy anything. If I like Runebound, Arkham Horror, which of those games I might llike best?

Thanks

Although I put a more detailed description about my favorite Tolkien based FFG game here, I also like Middle-Earth Quest.

If you are into "One vs. Team" type games, ME:Q is a lot of fun.  It's got some really nice combat mechanics, and I find it equally fun to play the Sauron side as well as the Heroes.  The map board really brings through the theme of middle earth.  You really have to think about taking encounters based on which region of the board you are traveling.  A worthy investment, especially if you have more than two players.
