Looks to be good...
Published on 30 April 2009 - 00:07:09

Well, I'm a big fan of Bruno's games, and Serge has produced some games that other people find good (wasn't all that impressed by Mystery of the Abbey myself, but alot of people like Shadows over Camelot). I like several things I've seen about this game -- random setup, no dice, trading -- so at this point I'm sure I'm going to pick up a copy for my collection.

I'm also looking forward to more games in the Designer Series. Perhaps FFG could do some of their own work with their creators -- I'd love to see what kind of crazy madness Corey K. and Kevin W. could come up

Valar Dohickey: All Men Must Have Gadgets.

I will be following this one.  It looks great.

Futility

Move him into the sun
Gently its touch awoke him once,
At home, whispering of fields unsown.
Always it woke him, even in France,
Until this morningthis snow.
If anything might rouse him now
The kind old sun will know.

The more I read about it the better this one sounds as well!

I love the bio of the designer in the rules! I liked how RGG were doing something similar on the sides of their recent game boxes - so glad to see another company doing something similar! I love the ludography as well - great work FFG and Nexus!

Cheers,

Giles.
