do you guys thinking that a revival of the KH game could happen with KH3? from what i heard the game stopped becasue of no more new cards. so kh3 could offer a possibility for that. once again not 100% but im pretty sure the game in japan was fairly popular

I wouldn't exactly say this is the case...there were still tons of cards to be made.  The rest of the Organization, Pride Lands and The World That Never Was related cards just as some examples.  I think it just died legitimately tbh.

And there will be no Vexen, Lexaeus, Zexion, Marluxia, Larxene or Xion cards. As Troth has said, FFG is merely translating the Japanese cards & (from what I've heard) isn't intending to continue where the Japanese sets left off. They didn't make any cards that were specific to Chain of Memories, 358/2 Days or Birth By Sleep.

Lame... my favourite member (whose quote I used for my signature) isn't available?  Zexion is awesome, specially his lexicon!  Surely if FFG makes some organization cards, they SHOULD make the whole organization, unless they want to disappoint some people.

Heh, true.  If FFG made cards, then yeah.  But they don't 'n won't, so it's all a no go.  We're just gonna get whatever cards were made before FFG step'd into the scenes to reprint them, 'n that's whatever was originally made in Japan.  There will be no brand new cards outside of the Japanese card game, as FFG WON'T be makin new cards.

Despite everythin, they still fail to call me Captain!

And why doesn't FFG add some of their own cards into the mix?  Not everything must be from Japanese, and it would please a lot of players if FFG creates these cards.

Because FFG are a game company. Not a printing company. Not a games design company.

They don't do the whole 'originality' thing.

That way I wouldn't have to have any goddamn stupid useless conversations with anybody.
If anybody wanted to tell me something they'd have to write it on a piece of paper and shove it over to me.
They'd get bored as hell doing that after a while, and then I'd be through with having conversations for the rest of my life...

As long as either Demyx, Zexion, Vexen or Xigbar is carded, I'm happy.  If not... guess who's forced to use Sora... the evil guy made to look good but I can see that he's evil

Well, we could also pool our money, try to convince Square Enix that it's worthwhile, get someone to print them, probably get loans, and make our own cards by starting a company. Fat chance.

FFG lacks the ability to actually sustain a card game let alone create a new set. I'm all for the continuation of the sets, but lets face it people. Once the other The King is printed, game over.

I disagree with the statement. FFG sustains and has created new stuff. Just look at the LCG genre and UFS. The reason why KH gets no love is because it is not getting popular appeal.

I think the issue with FFG not creating new content is simply because I don't think they have the creative license to do so, only the license to reprint what has already been made.

BTW. How is this card game compared to other card games? I was going to purchase some booster boxes from the holiday sale...but I doubt I'd have anyone to play.

This game has seriously plumetted compared to other games. And FFG, You have my permission to use my Zexion Card -related ideas... speaking of which, with 358/2 days out, shouldn't they make more Play Arts? I want a Zexion Play Arts with PaperCut Action. Lol.

Not neccasarily...if you haven't noticed, so far they only made the major characters, and Axel, being a friend to Roxas, is the most imprtant Organization member besides Roxas himself. They may make a Xion action figure, but I doubt it. As of now, they are making the Christmastown Sora and the original King Mickey, the one in the red, yellow, and white. If they did make the organization members, Zexion would be clsoe to the bottom I presume, with Xemnas, Marluxia, Vexen, and Saix playing a bigger role than he.

Compared to other games is a tough call really.  There are certainly better games in terms of Rulings and Card Effects being correct, as well as a bit more depth.  But in terms of fun and just to have a good time and mess around with, I think KH has other games beat hands down.

This is ultimately what I believe to be KH's problem.  It's more fun and simple than it is deep and competative...thus turning off a good portion of the so called "competative types" who usually make a CCG popular.

I would also like to add that UFS was mostly setup by Sabortooth Games (it's original owner before FFG brought it). So far it's just been translating (other than a few cards whose original texts were changed to make them playable thus avoiding a banned list.

I like KH since it makes it more playable to everyone, but as Mr Dawn said it lacks competitiveness that comes with the other games and the support other games get. I don't get the rush playing KH as I once did or as I do when I play YGO.
