Ties to Asterix
Published on 03 September 2009 - 12:30:54

Looking at the sample pages that FFG provides of the new graphic novel, I noted a number of similarities in look and style to the old Asterix comics.  Are they done by the one of the artists who worked on Asterix (I've forgotten their names).  It's an art style I quite enjoyed and one that complemented the great humor of the Asterix books.  It makes the Parcevan novels much more appealing to me.

No, the artist on Percevan is Philippe Luguy, whereas Asterix is drawn by Albert Uderzo.

Both are french comics though, and the art style in both are fairly common in euro comics.
