The problem with prepping Giant Space Squid is the Amonia flavor. So nasty. Its not like normal squid. If you dont cook it shortly after its demise, it can never be eaten.

I know this from my years as a Rogue Trader.

Braised Lictor Cheek is exceptional too.

What about this new Xenos-Breed ?

The Ghandians:

The Ghandians are a race of short statued, pinkfurred creatures, that strongly resemble terran teddybears, The concept of violence is completely alien to them. Their mindset is mostly naive, childlike and pacifistic to the state of madness. The Ghandians believe, every problem in the universe can be solved by singing a joyfull (and overly sweet) song about fun and friendship. One should suppose, that Ghandians are no match for a well armed human soldier - a Human is twice as large as a Ghandian, the Ghandians are quite weak, could not fire a gun even if they try and would´nt even think of fighting, even if beeing attacked. But unfortunately, Ghandians are immortal, nearly invincible, apear in large numbers and reproduce really rapidly. The only way to get rid of this bunch of singing and laughing Teddybear-Xenos is to exterminate the planet or the ship, they infested (and even the planet or ship is blasted, a lot of Ghandians will float through space - seeking a funny new adventure and new friends)

Gods, this... this is sick, sick I tell you.  It only be worse if they worshipped a large purple dinosaur choas-creature that was slowly destroying childrens minds with its insideous songs of love and peace.

One of three things I reccon,

-The Tyranid Hive Fleet's bellies.

-Collectives of barely a few thousand souls sitting tight,  perpetually brooding over their declining numbers and  impending doom.

-A great many of said few thousand making a secret pilgramage to join with those who they see may be their long lost brothers, The Demiurg.

"Collectives of barely a few thousand souls sitting tight, perpetually brooding over their declining numbers and impending doom."

Since we are in the 40K-Universe here, there could easily be a few million souls without making much difference. So, what about a really gigantic space-convoi of squat-spaceships, that avoided destruction and searches for a new homeworld ? We would have Battlestar Galactica with Space-Dwarfes.

Or what about a small Squat pocketempire at the fringes of the Imperium, that was founded by  colonists from the homeworlds millenia ago and was forgotten? This small "squat-reich" consists "only" of a few starsystems and is rather insignificant to the Imperium as a whole, but on a local scale, this Squats could become a major faction. They would also make perfect "customers" for a rogue-trader.

Gods, this... this is sick, sick I tell you. It only be worse if they worshipped a large purple dinosaur choas-creature that was slowly destroying childrens minds with its insideous songs of love and peace.

Hey - that dinosaur-idea is great ! Perhaps it´s a chaos-god, that was previously unknown to mankind.
