Expanding the Chronicles (proxies suggestion thread)
Published on 22 April 2009 - 17:48:47

since in various thread people start wondering about converting or finding proxies to use for "series 2" or custom figures, I've thought about creating a thread where gather all suggestions and ideas.

here are some of my finds (all are prepainted plastics):

D&D Miniatures Flesh Golems can be used for varius Dark Legion units:

Flesh Golem Flesh Golem

Star Wars Miniatures Dark Trooper Phase 3 has a somewhat Bauhaus-like look:

Dark Trooper

HeroScape Major Q10 could be great as Cybertronic unit:

Major Q10

I have a couple of them, maybe later I'll get some pic of them side to side with MC miniatures, to give a better idea of the scale...

As below but added here for the Dark Golem.

Liss

"Do not presume to judge me or the methods I choose to employ, petty-minded fool. You cannot comprehend the magnitude of the task I have undertaken nor the consequences of my failure. "

Inquisitor Liss as spoke to the high court of Terra during his trial for heresy and crimes against the Emperor.

@Gabbi

I think, most of the miniatures you post are to small for MC.

I found this one:

80 mm with Base.

Dark Trooper Phase 3 looks like Atilla of Cybertronic. Pretorian Behemoth in my country is beyond posibilities to boy... Shame because it would look really great on the battlefield. And... it should be RED.

Finally got pics up of the conversions I have started to work on....

Valerie Duval... (from her Bauhaus look a like and a WH40K sword)

and a Templar of the Wheel ... (just a repaint of a dragoon and a sword from an ezoghoul) (the ezoghoul that gave up his sword is now holding a cannon instead, pic to follow)

Enforcer Barbaretta could be a good Valerie Duval. The eyepiece might have to go though.

I'm probably looking for some Doomtrooper cards...
