Ultimately, while there can be some initial culture shock for Guild Wars players helpful to heavily instanced content, heroes, and farming for ectos, the breadth of the game world as well as the breathtaking Guild Warsiness of Guild Wars 2 will soften the transition to the new title. But my few thousand words here could never adequately cover every last microdetail about ArenaNet's franchise reboot -- I didn't get room to bring up underwater combat, auto-loot, the smartphone app, and currency! So please, series experts, chisel in on which you believe include the key differences involving the two titles, specifically those not covered here. For me, I'm going to be putting the finishing touches on my Hall of Monuments, being confident that my spacebar is within good working order, and planning my Engineer for launch!
