Downloaded both parts a week ago. Opened with 7Zip and extracted with zero issues.

My question deals more with the idea/pretense of someone stepping in to finish the map background. I'd volunteer to do it, but don't want to step on any toes.

Cheers,

Erm, forgive me if I'm completely wrong but isn't some of the stuff that Kroen posted ages ago (although improved) ??!?

While waiting for the return of the Great Old Ones, why not check out my fan creations:

Considering that the original poster is listed as "Unknown" which indicates a deleted account and he is the only person I know of to have had accounts banned from this site I would venture to guess that you may be right.

Baby's have a lot in common with the Great Old Ones. They spend most of their time sleeping, when they aren't sleeping they scream and eat a lot, and when people look at them they start babbling like the insane.

Sneaky Kroen and so!

Didn't know he got banned (been absent from these forums for quite a while), though I did notice his old posts listed as 'unknown'.  I did recommend to someone new to Arkham Horror that they come here and look for his posts as they always caused me to chuckle (or grimace).

Right Click and Save Picture should help.

I might have some of this at home, though I've a sneaky suspicion I just snagged the images from this thread. If I can find anything, I'll email it to you. It's not all that great an expansion - the flavour is completely anachronistic and some of the ideas were a little... ski-wiff. You'd be far better off with Vermont Horror.

Lovecraft Country Horror: A COMPLETELY FREE "big box" expansion for Arkham Horror, exploring the minor locales of Lovecraft's fiction, including a new board, 16 Investigators plus their corresponding Personal Stories, 4 Ancient Ones plus their corresponding Sinister Plots, 10 Generic Plots, 16 Skills, 32 Common Items, 24 Unique Items, 10 Spells, 10 Cults, Guardians, Heralds & Institutions, 16 Music of Erich Zann cards, 76 Leads, 4 Allies, 32 Monsters, a selection of Miscellaneous Cards, 24 New Injuries / Madnesses, 84 Tokens, 54 Mythos Cards, 41 Outer World Encounters & 52 Location Encounters

I have the complete expansion. But it's 231 MB, so.... give me a confirmation before I start mailing them all. But as Jake said, there are other expansions which are much more interesting (Golden Scarab, Vermont Horror, plus Jake's one, as soon as he completes it)

We have dragged Reason from her throne and set in her place the Empress of Dreams [Liber Endvra]

I would very much like a copy of this. I collect all custom content and finally found Golden Scarab complete just the other day so this would make it a twofer :)

Have you considered posting the files at Mediafire? They have remained fairly stable and try to stay out of trouble by staying low on the violation list.

Or perhaps you have them posted somewhere else?

I, too, request links to a copy of this. Looks like a lot of work went into it.

Hey guys, sorry for the delay on this. I'm trying to juggle about 50 million things and had severe computer problems. I have started a new website with three internal blogs one of which is the continuation of the Darkness over Dunwich blog. I'm trying out this host and if things go well I'm going to pre-pay for a premium package and host all the fan content there. I'm just not certain how my current file host (Mediafire) is going to do with the witch hunts lately (the Megaupload fiasco is proof enough of that concern) and can't waste time doing the uploads just to have to turn around and re-upload them again. I think I have a solid copy of everything up to date and most of the single items up until a month or so ago. I have to sort through the various packages and figure out the complete ones (new 3tb external HD due in this week…yeah!) and then I can start the party.

I will post here as soon as it starts. I know Oct. is going to be a crazy month but hopefully I can start getting this up in packages. It has been quite an adventure and so many people have helped me. A MASSIVE thanks to folks here and at the Geek for their help and support.

Thanks for your patience…it's all good :)

You're more than welcome. The thanks go out to all the creators of AH and the fans who keep it alive with their support. It really did come along at a crucial point for me and when I stepped back and saw what this 'paper pachinko machine' was capable of it knocked me off my feet (the phrase comes from the U.K. review duo who do the show Shut Up & Sit Down- http://vimeo.com/31324973 -I can't stop laughing during this one).

Hard Drive Arrival (hopefully) Tomorrow…Yeah!
