Conquer Hyboria alongside Conan the Cimmerian!
I don't really like that the Attacker and the Defender use the same set of dice to roll. I kind of wish they had given either enough dice for both sides (i.e. 12) or better yet, a set of white dice in addition to the red dice for the Defender (without of course the hit with the black circle).
At the very least, is it possible to purchase another set of dice from FFG? So we don't have to keep swapping dice around the table?

Make some. You wouldn't even need blanks. You could scan the faces of the battle dice and print them on to stickers or labels and then stick them on a set of dice and covering up the pips. Voila', your custom set of defender dice.

Yeah, sure I could make the dice, I even have some left over that I was using for Descent, but it's much cooler to have engraved dice :P
