Hi Gang,

I'm new to WoW and like to build my own planes. Where can I purchase online Russian,Italian and French WWII warbird kits?

I have a lot of US,Brit and German1/144  warbird kits already.

I have checked out eBay. Where do you buy yours?

Thanks and Merry Christmas

Well, a few links from me:

www.internethobbies.com/minicraft-1-144-scale-model-airplane-kits.html (mostly bombers, Plastic, prices around 8 bucks for a bomber)

www.aikensairplanes.com/ (helpful linklist, many different scales)

www.badcattoys.com/21cetodrmo1d.html (coloured metal planes for Wargamers, $10+)

www.airalex.com/KITSFORSALE.html (some nice planes, $15+)

www.diecastairplane.com/store/c/475-1-144-Scale.html (metal planes $12+)

members.lycos.co.uk/indochine/cefeo/144.html (Good list of 1/144 planes with info)

www.modelhobbies.co.uk/shop/plastic-model-kits-aircraft-model-kits-1144-c-27_37.html (some plastic models, a few really cheap)

www.sweetaviationmodels.com/ (sweet plastic kits, $14 and up)

www.japanesemodelmuseum.com/id2.html (Really cheap pre-painted metal planes from japan, I am considering an order from them myself...)

You can also buy a lot of metal planes in 1/200 from here www.skytrex.com/ (£5:50+, they are also sold in Us, I seen the link to that somewhere here...). A good option if you plan to use a lot of bombers.

Good luck and don't forget to post some pictures for us when you have your planes :)

Lol, I forgot the only link that I myself have bought models from there (not counting the 1/200 link):

Reviresco: www.tin-soldier.com/cgi-bin/ustorekeeper.pl They have a bunch of planes from both WW1 and 2 in 1/144 for a good price. I only own WW1 models from them myself but they are the same srie and the ones I own are very well made. US store, reccomended both for DOW and Wow .

The sortiment from WW2 is somewhat odd (P-36, P40, V-1, Oka Baka, He 163, several fiat planes, Gloster Gladiator, Heinkel 51, Henschel Hs 123,  A5M4, Ki-27, Ki-43II, ND 52, I-15, I-16, R-5 and SB-2. Their WW1 sortiment is however first class.

Maybe not the perfect collection since they have focused somewhat on weirder planes, if you order from them you will probably have to buy some planes from another place too but they are cheap, good quality and delivers fast.
