I bought a Fine Scale Modeller magazine yesterday and it had a Model Expo catalogue in it and then  I saw this:

Then........

Whilst checking out the Lindberg site I found this

http://www.lindberg-models.com/air_model70821.html

They are not 1/144 scale and a slightly later era but the shape is there as well as the size of course 38+ inches worth. Both models are huge and could be just simply built as is and used in games or could be very useful starting points for converting to a smaller (fictional) Zepplin in 1/144.

Nice find.  Unfortunately, throughout my childhood years I built over a hundred WW1/WW2 plastic models.  Back then I would rank the Lindberg line kits as tied for the worst.  Hopefully they have now improved - 30 years later.

Yes I would have to agree on the Lindberg quality issue, but all the same it would still be an easier starting point a total scratchbuild!
