Force Barrage vs Armor

Hello, first visit back in quite some time, not sure if I'm in the right place or not.
Force Barrage creates multiple bolts of force to attack the opponent. Many more so if you overbleed particularly well. Are each of these individual bolts compared against armor/Toughness to determine damage? Or is the combined force of the barrage compared against Armor/Toughness to determine the final damage?

Separate bolts, separate hits. Just like Auto-fire with ranged weapons.
