Red Blok: The RPG Soldaty

"Who'd have thought something so cheap could do so much damage!"
If you've ever seen the RPG Soldaty played in a match, this statement is one that you're likely to hear. The RPG Soldaty are easily the most devastating of all Red Blok infantry units against AFVs. While the RPG Kolossus is also a powerhouse in destroying vehicles, the Soldaty are substantially cheaper. The Soldaty cost a mere 250 AP for a unit of 12, while the Kolossus, which is more armored, costs 425 for a unit of 3.
If you are going to use the Soldaty unit, there are a few things you should keep in mind. First is that you should always buy a commander (I'd recommend a Master Sergeant so that you can get buy an extra +1 soldier, increasing your unit to 13). Pay the extra cost to have the Rocket Launcher as this is what makes the unit effective in taking out AFVs. The combat engineer can come in handy when you want to do a sneak attack on an AFV.
Engineers are usually forgotten by other players so you should use them sparingly. Wait until the optimal point, typically when someone has hidden an AFV on the other side of a container in an attempt to get your unit in a stalemate, and then detonate the box. Then unleash the fury of the Soldaty against the unsuspecting AFV and likewise detonate it.
As with most special units, you will want to keep your special weapons bearers (the rockets) in the back along with the medic, leader, and usually the engineer. The rest of the unit is a meat shield. The guns are pitiful (range of 0). Use them if you think you have a chance at hitting something equally pitiful. Obviously you should always medic your rockets if they get hit. Once the rockets are gone, the unit is pointless, so protect the rockets at all costs. Sacrifice your leader and engineer if you have to but keep those rockets alive!
The RPG Soldaty are fun to use because they are so unassuming. They look similar to the Krasnye Soldaty (weak, but strong in numbers). If you're playing with an inexperienced player, they probably won't know your potential and you may easily devastate them with a rain of rockets. Experienced players know the potential of these guys and they know to remove them as quickly as possible. As with all infantry units, beware the mortar blast!
Red Blok relies significantly on tactics and unit placement, so the RPGs are naturally difficult to use against UNA. Be a little patient with this unit and don't overlook a golden opportunity for a sneak attack/sabotage. The RPG Soldaty are a unit that, if used effectively, can wreak havoc to anyone that wishes to stand in their way.
