The Dark Pharaoh, Herald of Nyarlathotep

The Herald represents a powerful supernatural entity that is preparing the way for the Ancient One. Heralds can be used in conjunction with any Ancient One (although they are often much more dangerous in conjunction with a particular Ancient One) and modify the game in a way similar to the Ancient Ones. During setup, the Herald sheet is placed to the left of the Ancient One sheet when used.

To use the Dark Pharaoh as your Herald, print off the Herald sheet below (click the image for a high-res version) and place it by your Ancient One sheet. Then simply follow the rules printed on the sheet over the course of your game of Arkham Horror, in addition to all the normal rules of play.

You do not need to have a copy of Curse of the Dark Pharaoh in order to use the Dark Pharaoh as your Herald; however several of his abilities specifically interact with elements from that expansion.

For the most dangerous use of the Dark Pharaoh Herald, we reccomend using Curse of the Dark Pharaoh and Nyarlathotep as your Ancient One. Good luck!
